About Us Our main focus is on increasing the work opportunities for people with long-term health conditions and disabilities.   This is a huge agenda ranging from directly helping individuals and employers to influencing Government policy and public sector expenditure. Some examples of these activities are: Helping individuals: o Running work projects such as our Work for Yourself self-employment project. o Providing an audio and text guide to CV writing aimed at people who have not worked for some time. o Creating a directory of employment support. Increasing disability awareness amongst other organisations providing support : o Improving the ability of over 50 organisations to support disabled people in to employment. o Delivering training for the former Business Link teams in the East Midlands, South east  and South West. Influencing employers: o Providing an equality and diversity toolkit and training for businesses across the South East. Influencing Government and the public sector: o Contributing to various public policy consultations. o Creating equality impact assessments of major public contracts. o Creating disability equality schemes for the public sector.
